Peanut Butter Sheet Cake I 2c flour 2c sugar 1tsp soda ½tsp salt II ½c shortening 1 stick butter ½c peanut butter 1c water III 2 eggs ½c buttermilk 1tsp vanilla IV ⅓c milk 1 stick butter ½c peanut butter 1-2lbs powdered sugar
Cake: Preheat oven at 350° Prepare group 1 in a large mixing bowl, and group 3 in a small bowl Prepare group 2 in a medium sauce pan, heat while stirring until thoroughly mixed. Add group 2 to group 1, stir until mixed then add group 3 and stir until mixed. Pour into cake pan and place in oven for about 30 min, until you can stick a toothpick in the middle and pull it out clean. Allow a few minutes to cool Frosting: Place everything in group 4 except the powdered sugar into a medium sauce pan. Heat while stirring until thoroughly mixed. Slowly add the powdered sugar, stirring all the while, until golden brown Pour over cake and spread evenly.
